My friend very recently got a new laptop that runs Windows Vista. It came with some kind of Norton Protection Center, and now when she tries to use Google Maps, she can’t. Even though she never blocked it, it is acting as if she has and she cannot find how to unblock it or, even more preferably, just turn the darn Norton program off altogether.
Step-by-step instructions would be very helpful, as I’m afraid I’m not very good with technology.
She does not want to remove it altogether, rather just turn it off temporarily to use Google Maps, or just find a way to make it let her use it while it is running. It is not a parental control filter either, so any other ideas would be helpful.
