Go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools then System Restore and restore to the day before this problem started. Try that first if not try scanning using the following free programs:
AVG Antivirus
Spybot search and detroy
ad-aware 2007 Free edition
Oh Wow! You’re in trouble now!
Try unplugging your computer, then turning it on and then say a prayer. If that doesn’t work, take a deep breath, laugh, then give your computer to a family member and have them destroy it.

Update your Antivirus and scan again.
go to safe mode and run combination of spybot,ad-aware 2007,a-squared free,n avg is perfect for pc protection.
u can download all these from download.com for free.there are also many other good antivirus here.it is a cool site and safe for downloading software.

I would say your running a poor AV like AVG, do a free online scan at one or more of the following:

Come back with the name of virus & path of any virus these programs won’t remove.
it sounds like a virus for me. if i were you i would surf the web for free antivirus and run a scan.
