Can someone hack my through MSN Messenger?

Alright, well I made someone mad, and they say they are currently hacking me. They are obtaining my IP address, and building from there.

Is it really possible to hack my account that easily? If so, what can I do to stop them?
I’m not accepting any files from them, or anything…

How did they obtain your Ip address? Is it from before, etc?
One option is to try getting a new IP address from your ISP by restarting your modem, and/or contacting your ISP and ask for a new IP address.
Also, you should probably install a good firewall on your computer for good measures.
Yes, very good idea to not accept any files from them.
Not using MSN messenger for a while would be beneficial too, although that might be hard.
Lastly, change your MSN password every couple of days for now.
I personally think they’re just trying to scare you, but I wouldn’t take any chances.
