if you used to use limewire and frostwire on other OS’s dont use it on vista

security issues it will mess up your comp

second is if you do mess up you comp it cost a lot of money to repair vista

third there some program that you’ll eventually come to that vista cant support

everything else is pretty much ok

Firstly, I use Limewire on Vista and have had no issues. Actually I haven’t had any issues with Vista since I got my computer. Knock on wood haha.

no problems thus far, except having to turn some stuff off in vista while down loading certain software, has some security features that doesn’t play well with others, other than that I like it better than XP

    1. > The memory will be used by the Windows Aero Transparency (Resolvable: Disable Transparency).
    2. The Display Graphics Driver will be focused on Windows Vista’s appearance, not your processes (most of the time).
    3. Some older programs, as well as unofficially supported programs, may not function properly, or at all.
    4. DEP (Data Execution Prevention) gets serious. Some programs may be closed because DEP thinks it’s trying to execute an unknown command. (For example: It can close Firefox just because you’ve been watching a video stream on one tab and looking up something else on another.)
    5. BSoD’s are being fixed nowadays, but sometimes, it still happens. If you are taking up so much memory and multitask to programs that are to take up memory, BSoD’s will occur. (For example: Doing other things that take up memory while syncing/backing up an iPhone via iTunes)

    There’s your top 5.
