cant it wont fit i think and this is like makeing an illegal copy of it
Gud luck…
There’s nothing illegal about it.
1) Make the USB drive DOS bootable, and test and confirm that your motherboard does boot to DOS from it. THe infamous “HP boot utility” (google search) is one way of doing this.
2) Set autoexec.bat and config.sys on the USB drive to load smartdrive and a memory manager. Google will show how. This is not actually required, but it will make the install go multiple times faster than if you didn’t.
3) Copy the entire I386 folder from the Windows CD to the thumbdrive.
4) Boot the thumbdrive to DOS and run “/I386/winnt.exe”
I think it can be done and it is not illegal. But I really don’t know how, sorry.
USB version of WindowsXP is already available
Just Google it and Download
