Go get it checked out by a professional, or take it to your local electronics store (ie. Circuit City, etc.) and see if they can help you.

you have a problem with your battery. either connection to battery or the actual battery. Try a new battery if that doesn’t work you will want to get it repaired.

It’s Probably the battey, make sure it;s in all the way or if it isn’t working you need to buy a new batery

put the battery in the PSP and put it on the charger, keep the system on the charger until the battery is fully charged (check under settings->system settings->battery information), then, with the system on, pull the system off the charger, if the system immediately turns off, or if it shows the low battery icon in the corner, then your battery is shot, nothing you can do for it but buy a new battery (the reason it seems to shut off while listening to music or surfing the web is because the psp needs more juice to listen to music, and for some reason, refuses to charge when using wifi)
