I believe the default password is 0000
First insert any dvd movie, go to setup and access the parental control settings(press select) When asked for your code enter “7444″; It will prompt you again to type in your password. Type “0000″ and then scroll down to the movie rating options and choose “off”.

when it asks for your password, push [select]
supposedly, this brings you to a screen that asks if you would like to change the password. however, in order to do so, you need the system password, which is 7-4-4-4
after that, you are given the choice to reset the parental password. a password like 0-0-0-0 is probably best, so that all you’ll have to do is mash down on the X button for a few seconds
