Is this an image file, a video file or something else? If it’s an image file then you will need to host it yourself, it is not good to “hot link” to other people’s sites. If you’re talking about a YouTube video or some such file then you should be able to get the exact URL using VideoDownloader (with Firefox).
.. but we may need more info to help you out on this. Can you be a bit more specific?

You have got to be joking, downloading/ uploading files forms the very basis of the web and NO way can it NOT work. To create a hyperlink the universal code is :
