Has anyone made any purchases from Amazon.com. Is it safe and reliable for high value items?
I am looking at buying photographic equipment and I understand Amazon is a good option.Have you made any big purchases from them? How did go? thanks for help.

My cousin buys lots of expensive stuff from there and it goes fine, its an extremely trusted site so i take it its safe.
amazon is wicked and they ship really fast (most of the time, look it up when youre checking out) very efficient and professional.

Yes I have and it has gone good. It was really easy and they do offer you your money back if you don’t receive your item. Have have bought very expensive computer equipment and it was good
yes i have ordered a few games and a cd, but i suggest you look into the seller before buying. you can do that by looking at their reviews.
My husband and I order from Amazon all the time. Only one time did we have a problem, we called them and talked to a person who apologized and got it all corrected immediately.
I have only bought small items like DVD’s.. and I have never had a problem. I also sold many things on Amazon also.. just make sure the seller has good ratings!!!
Hi there, YES, I have bought many high-end items on Amazon….Dior sunglasses and Gucci bags. They cannot sell anything that isn’t authentic. Just be careful that you’re actually buying from Amazon…because other sellers can sell on Amazon.Com, too.
I bought £150 worth of books from there in one go a few months back and recieved all within a week in perfect condition.
If your buying directly from amazon its very reliable, but if your buying from a member selling something across amazon (pre-owned items etc.) then its less reliable – much like e-bay, its taking a chance depending on the person selling the item.
I would say they are 100% safe and reliable. I’ve purchased everything from cd’s and dvd’s to jewelry and never had a problem.
(no books because I support my local independent bookseller!)
Nothing in life is guaranteed but by the numbers you’ll be fine.

I have recently made about three purchases off of amazon and I havent had a problem. I bought a micro sd card for my phone because the verizon store salesman told me that was the cheapest way to go. I havent had any problems yet and I intend to make more purchases off of the site. It is a great site to buy merchandise off of.
Just make sure what you are buying is what you want because there is no way, as far as I know, of returning the product.
Look at the additional details and additional photographs,if available…and customer reviews are also helpful

Yes but I trust people on ebay with alot of positive feedback more……Have done several large purchases on ebay ranging from $100 – $12000 (Car) with no problems whatsoever. As long as you buy from people with good feedback you’ll be ok.
